Realme 12 Pro Unveiling: Cutting-Edge 5G Technology and Periscope Telephoto Lens Redefine Smartphone Photography (2024).

Realme 12 Pro 5G series is confirmed to launch in India later this month. The lineup is likely to include a Realme 12 Pro and a Realme 12 Pro+ model.

Realme has also officially revealed the design of a Realme 12 Pro model. It appears in a Submarine Blue colour option. The back panel sports a centred circular camera module surrounded by a golden dial. A golden line also passes vertically through the middle of the rear panel. The power button and volume rocker on the right edge of the handset are also seen in a golden colour.

Realme expressed its dedication to masterful design, stating that the Realme design studio has once again partnered with a master to craft a smartphone design exuding a sense of luxury. The official statement from Realme promises an unveiling of this highly anticipated design, hinting at a smartphone that goes beyond the ordinary.

Realme claims that the latest series will feature the segment’s largest periscope telephoto sensor – the OV64B flagship sensor. “With a 1/2-inch size, it’s over twice as large as the telephoto sensor in the iPhone 15 Pro. Thanks to its larger aperture and light intake, the Realme 12 Series 5G telephoto lens is nearly three times more light-sensitive than that of the iPhone 15 Pro,” the company said in a release. 

Realme 12 Series 5G main camera features Sony IMX890 OIS. This camera has a 1/1.56-inch sensor, a 24mm equivalent focal length, and a wide f/1.8 aperture. Additionally, it features an ultra-wide-angle camera. 

Anyhow, you can expect the said model(s) to have a unique back panel design and some dial imitations for the rounded camera assembly on the back— the latter is confirmed in a teaser video shared by Realme announcing the partnership. Internet is rife with a poster that suggests a Rolex edition for the Realme 12 Pro Plus maybe in the works.

Realme 12 Pro Specifications :-

Recently, the Realme 12 5G and Realme 12 Pro+ 5G surfaced on the TENAA website with model numbers RMX3843, and RMX3841, respectively. The former is expected to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC. They are said to pack 50-megapixel triple rear cameras and could be backed by 5,000mAh batteries. The Realme 12 Pro+ 5G is rumoured to get a 64-megapixel Omnivision OV64B 3X periscope telephoto lens. The upcoming series could be sold in India via Flipkart.

 the Realme 12 Pro 5G series is launching on January 31. There are two models: the regular Realme 12 Pro in Navigator Beige and Submarine Blue colours with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage. The Realme 12 Pro Plus is said to come in Explorer Red, Navigator Beige, and Submarine Blue colours with either 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage.

The specifications for the Realme 12 Pro+ and Realme 12 will be an upgrade over the Realme 11 Pro+ and Realme 11 Pro. They made their India debut in June last year with an initial price tag of Rs. 23,999.
