Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Animal has already achieved a remarkable feat in the domestic market by selling a total of 2,09,986 tickets for 6,036 shows, earning an impressive revenue of Rs 6.42 crore. In fact, Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, may just go on to become Ranbir’s biggest opening of all time.
The film has not only gained momentum across Hindi sectors but has also raked in some impressive numbers in the Telugu, and Tamil languages The nationwide advance bookings in Hindi were estimated at around Rs 5.87 crore, with a total of 176,192 tickets booked from 5570 shows.
Meanwhile, the Telugu dubbed version has raked in an estimated Rs 54.29 lakh, from 33,453 tickets sold. The Tamil dubbed version, on the other hand, has earned an estimated Rs 32,740 from the 341 tickets sold.

Animal’s Hindi version has, so far, collected ₹5.87 crore in advance ticket sales for its opening day, selling 1.76 lakh tickets for 5570 shows across the country. Animal’s Telugu version has done a business of ₹54.29 lakh and sold 33.4K tickets for 446 shows, so far, for Animal’s Day 1. Animal in Tamil has also collected ₹32.7K for day 1 across 20 shows, taking the India total for Animal’s advance box office.

Animal stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, and Tripti Dimri in key roles. The film is directed by Sandeep Vanga of Kabir Singh (2019) and Arjun Reddy (2017) fame and produced by T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures.
The first trailer of the film was recently launched by the makers with extensive violence. The storyline of the film revolves around the troubled relationship between Ranbir’s Arjun Singh and his father Balbir Singh, played by Anil Kapoor. Rashmika Mandanna plays Ranbir’s love interest while Bobby Deol plays the chief antagonist in the film.
The film shows the highest level of mass, class and drama. Kadeel further stated that Ranbir Kapoor is portrayed as a cerebral assassin in this film while Bobby Deol transforms into a behemoth. He also praised Animal’s director Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
